1) Will Indian hair match the texture of my African American Hair?
Yes. Because this hair is also ethnic and it blends well with African
American hair that has been relaxed.
2) How long will this hair last?
For up to 1 year with proper care and treatment. If your plan is to
wear the unit on a daily basis as a Hair Replacement Unit, it is
recommended that you purchase 2 units to preserve the life of the
Unit. Otherwise with daily wear of one Unit, the Unit will need to be repaired
after about 6 - 8 months.
3) Can I apply this Unit to my head by myself?
If you purchase a front lace Unit, you can apply the Unit yourself. If you
purchase a Full Lace Unit, we recommend that you visit a certified Invisible
Hairline Unit Specialist to prevent improper application which can cause
damage to the cap.
4) Once the Unit is installed, how long can I wear it?
Depending on the type of installation, you can will get a hold/wear of the Unit
from 2 weeks - 2 months.
- If your installation is a Perimeter Bond which means adhesive is only applied around the hairline the unit will only hold for about 2-3 weeks. You will then have to remove the Unit, and have it reapplied. (see example #1)
- If your installation is a Full Head Bond, you can wear the Unit for about 5-8 weeks and then the unit removed, cleansed and styled and then reapplied.(see example #2)
- How long the Unit will adhere to your head for a Perimeter Bond will be determined by certain factors such as: Oily Skin, excessive sweating and lifestyle such as working out. With these factors, the Unit would hold from 1-2 weeks.
5) Can I go swimming in this unit?
Yes, but only recommend for customers whose application is a Full Head
Bond.
6) Can you color the Unit?
Yes. You can color the Unit any color you want. Remember this is REAL
Indian Remy Hair.
